Machining Supervisor

As a Machining Supervisor your main responsibilities are:

• Overseeing Team Leaders and machine operators in the machine shop, ensuring product components are manufactured according to design specifications
• Managing the department’s workload and scheduling while serving as a technical advisor to Team Leaders
• Collaborating with supervisors from other departments to address production flow challenges
• Assessing the performance of team members and providing feedback for improvement
• Conducting time and cost analysis to optimize efficiency
• Ensuring all necessary documentation, including production drawings, BOMs, and work orders, is accurate and properly understood
• Identifying and addressing equipment requirements
• Resolving in-process production issues to maintain workflow continuity
• Overseeing maintenance of machine tools and providing technical guidance 
• Training new hires

The ideal candidate for the position of Machining Supervisor will be expected to possess the following:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably on the machine shop floor
• Proficiency in CNC programming (turning center, milling center)
• Experience with 3D design software, ideally SolidWorks
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts
