The totally renovated 4* Aeolos Beach Hotel at Kos island is seeking to hire an experienced Head Chef to join its team for the tourism season 2025. The ideal candidate is a high energy, hands on professional, able to cope in a demanding work environment having impeccable job standards. The Head Chef will ensure hotel’s gastronomical expectations, cost standards and as well as, the efficient operation of the kitchen of an all inclusive beach resort.
Main duties:
- Reports to the Hotel Manager
- Responsible for the preparation of meals from 1 central kitchen, to 2 all inclusive buffet restaurants, 1 self service grill
- Planning according to occupancy levels (~500pax), directing food preparation and activities, supervising cooks and support personnel
- Daily cooperation with the Cost Controller & Service Manager
- Planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities
- Arranging equipment purchases and repairs
- Involvement in the selecting process and management of kitchen staff
- Remedy problems or complaints that arise
- Final editing of the appearance of meals - buffet
- Compliance with nutritional regulations, hygiene rules and safety standards
- Maintaining time and payroll records
