General Manager
Designed with intimacy, tranquility and elegance in mind, NÓS is a peaceful hideaway imbued with the island’s vernacular gracefulness and handcrafted finesse where guests can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings in the utmost comfort.
The General Manager oversees daily activities on the hotel property including front desk operations, reservations, guest relations, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance and customer services. Responsible for operational efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
General Manager reports directly to the COO
MAIN DUITES:
- Lead hotel to implement, monitor, adhere to, and enforce compliance with all hotel and company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with employees, including relaying pertinent information to subordinates, communicating expectations and appreciation, sharing ‘big picture’, and communicating departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
- Maintain superior relationship and rapport with guests.
- Monitor service trends by engaging with hotel guests, reviewing guest comments, make changes as necessary.
- Communicate and advocate the company’s vision and strategic plans to your team and help deliver change.
- Adapt your style to inspire, engage, and motivate the units’ managers and teams in varying situations.
- Apply a consistent set of practices to identify team performance and gaps, build core competencies and improve overall teammate performance.
- Manage your own and your team`s workload and pressure and adapt to evolving situations by seeking alternative approaches.
- Build a network and collaborate with cross-functional teams with diverse expertise and capabilities.
- Maximize sales potential and profitability, guest satisfaction, monitoring product and labor costs, reviewing of financial information, etc.
- Adjust current working processes and generate new ideas in response to transformational changes and demands.
- Report directly to the management company and to the Group’s board when necessary.
