coordinates and/or implements technical work as project leader or partner in
Interreg, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects.
EXELIA seeks to recruit one (1) full-time, in-house, political scientist to join its growing team of collaborators developing new projects & deliverables in the areas of territorial cooperation, training and R&D innovation.
Position description:
The political
scientist’s responsibilities involve drafting reports and/or project proposals.
The retained candidate should be capable to draft bids, studies, surveys,
analyses, policy action plans, needs and requirement analyses, educational
resources, etc. Day-to-day activities include a combination of the following
items:
- Clarify and interpret complex
concepts for policymakers, ensuring they are communicated in clear and precise language.
- Assist
in designing research frameworks for project deliverables and proposals to
align with relevant funding programme requirements.
- Plan
data collection efforts (e.g. questionnaires, case studies) and conduct
statistical & content analysis.
- Draft
deliverables based on findings from empirical research.
- Explain
and analyse complex concepts destined for decision makers in a structured,
clear and precise language.
- Support
the management of R&D projects and provide reports to funding authorities.
Candidate prerequisites:
- PhD or proven writing expertise
in relevant field(s).
- Proven exposure of EU policies
and trends on green transition.
- Prior experience in
cross-border territorial development policies would be a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to produce
analysis with actionable recommendations.
- Ability to understand the needs
of stakeholders and engage with them communicating the results of the analysis
carried out.
- Excellent writing skills in
English.
