Koia is a 51-room exclusive hotel, it is consisted by separate rooms such as small villas, all are sea view, 38 of them have private swimming pools.

Food and Beverage Manager & Cost Controller
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, forecast and execute food and beverage orders
- Process customer complaints patiently
- Plan alternative recipes for customers with special dietary needs
- Check food and beverage supplies and place orders when needed
- Track and order shipments
- Communicate and build strong relationships with vendors
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards
- Plan, hire, train, oversee and manage the members of staff
- Oversee and supervise the welcoming of customers
- Always strive towards an exceptional customer experience
- Provide analysis of F&B stores consumption to handle the ordering of Food and Beverage as accurately as possible.
- Analyze all food and beverage costs on a monthly basis and making recommendation of alternatives on cost savings
- Maintain the food and Beverage costs updated on a daily basis
- Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing
- Coordinate, attend and monitor all food and beverage physical inventories to ensure accuracy
- Ensure proper storage and issuance of all food and beverage items
- Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for food and beverage supplies to the various departments
- Assist management in menu costing in order to establish menu item sale prices.
- Carry out spot-checks on the hotel stores rotating stock-takes.
- Approve all store requisitions
- Invoice reconciliation
Qualifications for Food And Beverage Manager & Controller
- 2-3 years working experience in a relevant position in 5* hotel
- Excellent command of Greek and English language, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Great leadership abilities
- Deep knowledge of the food industry
- Customer oriented mindset
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
- Ability to create reports to give to ownership
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cost Controlling.
- Excellent command of Greek and English language, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Knowledge of PMS and Warehouse software
- Knowledge of Revenue Analysis would be an asset.
- Able to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to analyze P&L statements.
- Accuracy in reporting and data registration.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Pro-active approach; taking personal responsibility and initiative to prevent or solve problems.
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices.
- Integrity, reliability, and accurate reporting.
