IT Systems Support Specialist.
Job Summary
Responsibility for:
- Configuring and maintaining the industrial business applications and Operational Technology (OT) environment of Komotini’s Power Plant.
- Identifying and leading the implementation of new projects with regard to business applications/ networks.
Liaising with external IT /OT teams for infrastructure related projects and IT/OT security
Main Job Responsibilities/ Duties - Monitors and supports the designated business applications and/ or OT environment and systems’ integration to meet Komotini’s power plant’s requirements. Ensures that the applications are up to date with the latest patches and updates.
- Provides support with IT/ OT and industrial applications related issues and troubleshoots/ resolves related problems in a timely manner.
- Undertakes IT related Project Management tasks with regard to industrial application projects and identifies opportunities for enhancing efficiency and ensuring applications' sustainability.
- Liaises with Industrial IT/OT vendors for incident resolution and maintenance related tasks.
- Ensures business continuity by identifying the root cause of IT/OT related incidents and liaises with external IT support for their resolution.
- Monitors Service Level Agreements with application vendors regarding maintenance & support services to guarantee quality.
- Safeguards the organization’s IT and OT Security guidelines/ policies.
- Develops a knowledge library as well as an archive of relevant documentation to ensure business continuity.
Knowledge and Skills requirements- 3-5 Years on a similar role in an industrial environment
- Experience in managing IT/ OT projects
- Engineering or Computer Science degree
- OT Environment & Segmentations
- Good knowledge of Greek and English language
- Industrial Automation
- IT/OT Integrations
- Knowledge of industrial protocols, networks, and devices, such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DNP3, IEC 61850, etc.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, access control, etc.
- Knowledge in project reporting
