Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor

Leading Greek Company in the Surface Mining Sector is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to join their dynamic team!

The Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall management of maintenance for the company's fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Conducting regular and detailed preventive maintenance checks to ensure optimal operating conditions of machinery, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues in heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Supervising and managing maintenance programs and records, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
• Managing spare parts inventory (ordering necessary parts, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of required components).
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
• Preparing reports on maintenance operations and equipment status.
• Visiting mining facilities and operational units for the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, the maintenance team, technicians, craftsmen, and operational staff for the effective execution of maintenance and repair projects.

The ideal candidate for the Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor position should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair roles.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems of heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leading skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• Flexibility.
