We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join our operations team and drive initiatives that enhance our manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
About the Role:
The Process Improvement Engineer will leverage their expertise in Lean manufacturing and process optimization to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that align with our operational goals. This role will play a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our production methods meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough analyses of manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Lean methodologies and Six Sigma strategies.
- Design and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess process performance and improvement outcomes.
- Lead process improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor production staff on process improvement tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to engage team members in the continuous improvement process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into our processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using software applications related to process improvement and analytics.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
