Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its clienta a multinational construction company for a QA/QC Engineer,
to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece. This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece.
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team in the Riviera Tower construction project. The QA/QC Engineer will assist in monitoring and inspecting the construction processes and ensuring that they adhere to project specifications, codes, and standards. The QA/QC Engineer will report directly to the QA/QC Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the QA/QC Manager in developing and implementing the project-specific QA/QC plan.
- Assist in the development and review of construction procedures, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Assist in conducting quality control inspections and audits of the construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Document and report any non-conformances or deficiencies to the QA/QC Manager and coordinate corrective actions.
- Assist in maintaining the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and ensuring its proper implementation.
- Participate in project meetings and assist in the preparation of meeting minutes and reports.
- Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of final turnover documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering.
- Excellent command of Greek and English is a must.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in QA/QC in the construction industry or relevant field.
- Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to know:
The QA/QC Engineer will work primarily on the construction site, which may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and noise.
