Randstad is looking for a Buyer on behalf of ZeniΘ, the 1st provider of integrated energy in Greece, with natural gas and electricity!

As a Buyer your duties will be the following:

  • Perform market research and market intelligence activities identifying potential vendors
  • Conduct analyses on suppliers to verify their suitability with respect to business needs, reputational, reliability and sustainability requirements, as well as evaluate new potential players through Scouting activities
  • Interface with the requesting unit from the definition of needs in order to identify the best Sourcing Strategy in compliance with the regulatory framework
  • Organize documents for the Vendor Qualification procedure
  • Prepare and process negotiated, restricted and open tender procedures including preparation, evaluation, verification and analysis to ensure sound financial management in all procurement activities
  • Draft the tender specifications in cooperation with the operational staff of Zenith based on the nature of the requirements - provide advice on the correct procurement procedures and types of contracts
  • Develop contracts, check contracts implementation, support the contract management and initiate the necessary steps for the contract renewal
  • Submit reports and presentations about procurement activities

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Τhe Buyer is a professional with:
  • Degree in areas related to Business Administration / Procurement / Supply Chain / Engineering / Finance or other related field would be an advantage
  • Master’s degree in the energy sector would be an asset
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Administrative position from which at least 1 year in procurement related to activities such as sourcing, cost/price analysis, negotiations, contract management and supplier management
  • Knowledge of other procurement related solutions/ tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and other online tools
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet)
  • Excellent knowledge of English both oral and written; understanding of the Italian language is an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
