Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team and elevate our
beverage program with creativity, expertise, and flair. As a Bartender, you will showcase
your mixology talents, engage with guests to understand their preferences, and deliver an
exceptional drinking experience that reflects the sophistication and elegance of our
establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including
cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty drinks, with precision and attention to detail.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations on
beverage selections and offering personalized service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including bar tools, glassware,
garnishes, and ingredients, to ensure efficient operations and adherence to sanitation
standards.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, including monitoring guest
consumption, identifying signs of intoxication, and complying with age verification
requirements.
- Process drink orders accurately and efficiently using a POS (Point of Sale) system,
handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment with professionalism and integrity.
- Collaborate with other members of the beverage and service team to ensure seamless
coordination during service and special events.
- Stay informed about current beverage trends, industry developments, and new product
offerings, continually seeking opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or similar
establishment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation,
with a passion for creating unique and memorable drinks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests
and provide personalized service in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, while maintaining composure and
attention to detail during busy service periods.
- Proficiency in operating bar equipment and POS systems, as well as familiarity with
responsible alcohol service practices and regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate the
needs of our operation.
