Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the implementation of maintenance procedures for equipment and facilities.
• Supervise the acquisition of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Work closely with all departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and handle urgent repairs.
• Provide technical support for new product development and production processes.
• Partner with the team to drive continuous improvements in production and maintenance operations.
• Assist the Technical Director in preparing the annual budget for the Technical Department and track monthly variances.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members, offering feedback and corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate staff training and specialization through seminars and educational programs.
• Align training initiatives with employee assessments and company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene regulations, implementing recommendations from the safety officer.
• Collaborate with the fire safety team to train employees and maintain fire safety compliance.

The Maintenance Manager must possess the following:

• BSc in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
• MSc (MBA) preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of German is a plus
• PC literacy; knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is an advantage
• Ability to think adaptively and flexibly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational skills with expertise in managing teams and multiple tasks
• Effective time management and project coordination skills
• Energetic, proactive, highly motivated, and passionate approach
• Goal-focused and self-motivated mindset
