We are actively seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive – Sea Freight Forwarding to join our team in our offices in Thessaloniki.

As a Sales Executive, you will actively seek out and engage customer experience and portfolio growth domestically (within Greece), internationally, or a combination of both. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing customized solutions for clients, and maintaining strong relationships to drive revenue growth in the Sea Freight transportation sector.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients using our CRM system
  • Develop customized solutions to meet client transportation needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize revenue
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making
  • Meet or exceed sales targets reporting progress to sales management
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and new business development within the sea freight sector
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals of our sea freight services
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, opportunities to enhance brand awareness

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the sea transportation field
  • Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including modes of transportation, routing, freight rates, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Shipping, Logistics or other related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software management
  • Valid driver's license
