With a growing portfolio of projects, the company is expanding its Construction Management team and looking for a dedicated and skilled RES Electrical Engineer.
Role description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for renewable energy projects and Substations. This role involves managing and overseeing the electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and specifications as part of the Owner’s Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Supervision: Supervise and manage daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to permits, designs, and specifications.
- Project Planning & Coordination: Define project milestones and ensure deadlines are met by overseeing and adjusting schedules as needed
- Quality Assurance: Review work quality, equipment compatibility, conduct site inspections, and ensure that all works are executed according to client’s specifications and IPTO regulations
- Risk Management: Proactively address any construction delays, project modifications, or unforeseen complications
- Project Scheduling: Develop and manage project timelines and schedules.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to the manager, including project status updates and progress reviews.
- Team Management: Manage subcontractors and third-party services to ensure work is executed according to project schedule and specifications
- Documentation: Prepare project documents and maintain comprehensive records of project activities
