Your Role
As Cook A’ (Commis I), you are pivotal to the kitchen's operational excellence. You meticulously ensure the readiness of materials and functionality of equipment for daily menu preparations, specializing in hot dishes and meats. Your expertise includes meticulous monitoring of cooking parameters and hygiene standards, maintaining sterilized work surfaces and utilizing clean, appropriate utensils.
Beyond your culinary duties, you supervise and mentor junior cooks, overseeing their development and ensuring adherence to kitchen protocols. You adeptly assume leadership responsibilities, ensuring seamless kitchen operations. Your collaborative spirit shines as you work closely with kitchen and warehouse teams, under the guidance of the FnB Manager, to uphold the highest standards of culinary quality and service.
This position involves a seasonal contract.
