Life Cycle Assessment Expert

IFT Rosenheim Hellas, a partner of the notified body for testing and certification ift Rosenheim, is active in the testing and certification of windows and doors, glazing and building materials in general, based in Thessaloniki and serving the markets of Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Bulgaria.

In the context of further growth, the company is looking to recruit a Life Cycle Assessment Expert on a full-time, open-ended contract.

Tasks / Areas of Responsibility

• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for building products according to ISO 14040
• Preparation of environmental product declarations ("EPD") according to EN 15804
• Development and preparation of questionnaires for data collection in life cycle assessments
• Modelling of corporate processes in a life cycle assessment programme
• Compilation of Carbon Footprints for companies
• Preparation of sustainability product passports

• Successfully completed studies (specialisation in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology, Materials Science, Sustainable Development and Sustainability or related fields)
• Ideally experience in sustainability assessment of building products and in the field of life cycle assessment
• Experience in life cycle assessment projects will be considered an advantage
• Very good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German will be considered an advantage
• High customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel and high flexibility
• Completion of Military Obligations is required
