A Greek educational organization is seeking Student Coordinators, to oversee medical observation programs in hospitals in Thessaloniki, Greece, during the spring/summer of 2025.
Key responsibilities entail:
- Supervising groups of university students as they observe in hospitals, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the program, with 24/7 availability for emergencies.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, hospital rotations, group meals, and local transportation for students, including managing purchases and expense reports.
- Maintaining communication and logistical coordination with the Senior Manager, as well as planning, organizing, and facilitating student observation experiences within partner hospitals.
Candidate requirements include:
- Exceptional organizational, communication, community development, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Exemplary character, serving as a role model with trustworthiness and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, with comfort in mediation and conflict resolution.
- Team-player mentality, being visible and accessible to students with 24/7 emergency availability.
- Capability in crisis management, negotiation, and implementing/enforcing organizational policies and procedures, including those outlined by Hippocrates.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English and Greek.
