As a Land and GIS Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage land securing for wind and solar PV projects, negotiating with private and public landowners from initial discussions to contract signing.
• Oversee the re-negotiation of contracts for existing land plots, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Maintain and update all land plot information using land management databases and cartographic tools.
• Regularly report land securing progress and prepare reports for management.
• Handle land booking fee payments and serve as the primary point of contact for landowners.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure all contracts are legally sound.
• Ensure land securing processes align with project timelines.
• Supervise real estate agents and coordinate with municipalities on public land auctions.
• Keep project managers informed of any developments, challenges, and opportunities in land securing.
• Support the production and validation of maps for various project stages, including building permits and environmental assessments.
• Maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders, including landowners and municipalities.

For the Land and GIS Manager position you should ideally demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering, GIS , Urban Planning, or a related field.)
• 3-5 years of experience in land management or as a surveyor engineer, ideally in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience working with both private and public landowners.
• Fluent in Greek and English; French language skills are an advantage.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
