For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Co. Galway, Ireland,
we are looking for an experienced Confectioner.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience
working as a confectioner or a pastry chef in a bakery, patisserie, or a
restaurant
- Strong culinary skills, creativity, and high attention to
detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A good level of English is required
About the job:
- Permanent, full-time position
- If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two
weeks of free accommodation. After that, you would be paying around 400 -
800 € per month for a private apartment in the
nearby area (utilities approximately 15 € weekly)
- Salary after tax in Ireland for this Confectioner position will
be between 2.240 € to 2.364 € net per month (31.200
€ to 33.280 € gross; before tax, per year) for 40 hours per
week
- Salary is paid weekly
Your duties will be: preparing, baking, and assembling a wide
variety of sweets, including cakes and pastries, decorating the sweets,
managing the inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring that all food
safety and hygiene standards
