Job description:
As an In-House Architect, your primary responsibility is to oversee the architectural design, planning, and execution of our building and renovation projects. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure all architectural projects meet our functional, aesthetic, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Planning:
- Develop architectural designs for new construction, renovation, and expansion projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate project needs into detailed architectural plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
Project Management:
- Manage projects from concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resourcing.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and ensure designs are followed to specification.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Regularly update management on project progress.
- Participate in meetings to present design concepts and address any project changes or concerns.
Technical & Compliance Oversight:
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using design software.
- Ensure projects meet environmental and sustainability standards, where applicable.
- Ensure all permits and approvals are obtained, and projects comply with relevant safety and legal requirements.
Innovation & Problem-Solving:
- Integrate modern architectural trends, materials, and technologies into designs.
- Address and resolve any design or construction-related challenges.
