Responsibilities:
✔️ Buffet Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality breakfast dishes, including hot and cold items.
- Ensure all buffet stations are well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained throughout service.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
✔️ Food Safety & Hygiene:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and buffet area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and workstations are sanitized before and after use.
✔️ Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the kitchen team, chefs, and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training junior staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Be adaptable and cooperative in handling kitchen demands during peak hours.
✔️ Inventory & Waste Management:
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Minimize food waste by following proper preparation and storage techniques.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries to ensure quality standards.
✔️ Customer Satisfaction & Service:
- Ensure food is prepared promptly to meet guest expectations.
- Be proactive in responding to special dietary requests or buffet replenishment needs.
- Maintain a professional and service-oriented approach to support the hotel’s reputation.
Qualifications:
✔️ Proven experience as a Cook B, preferably in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting or restaurant.
✔️ Strong knowledge of breakfast buffet preparation and presentation.
✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
✔️ Team-oriented and cooperative attitude to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
✔️ Adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
