IT SUPPORT

Offshore Projects Vessel Operating Company, based in Voula and operating worldwide, seeks an IT Support, to participate in department’s procedures offering constant IT services in order to have all systems up & running.

Responsibilities

• Hardware/software/server/clients installation, configuration and administration on vessels and offices,
• Maintenance, repair, troubleshooting of IT systems & infrastructure (workstations, laptops, VoIP, printers, other devices),
• Daily monitoring of Client updates,
• Market research of IT suppliers and assets,
• IT assets & telecommunication equipment administration,
• Network administration,
• 1st and 2nd level support to field engineers and administration personnel,
• Organise and file department’s documentation,
• Reporting (weekly and monthly reports, telecommunication analysis) .

Job requirements

• BSc studies in IT, PC Systems & Network Engineering
• MSc in IT would be an asset
• As minimum Skills are required the following: Windows Operating Systems, Network Infrastructure, Websites administration, Software & Hardware Troubleshooting, ERP Systems, Databases, Mail servers, Backup & Restore, Active Directory
• At least 3 years of relevant employment experience in similar position
• English language at commercial level, Soft1 administration as a plus, driving license, availability to travel, hardware-software-networking experience, Operating systems (Windows & UNIX based)
• Accurate and consistent, proactive and organised, flexible and adaptable, communicative, patient, coordination & troubleshooting abilities, teamwork ability
