ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, a global leader in the financial services, is seeking for a Chief Transformation Officer to develop, plan and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the Company’s business needs, enhances business processes with a focus on ROI and maintains utmost security.

CHIEF TRANSFORMATION OFFICER (5663/CTO/ESS/GR)

The Chief Transformation Officer will lead a dedicated team of IT professionals and collaborate with other executives to pioneer innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in planning and deploying large-scale transformation projects with external partners. The individual will also actively participate and contribute to the roadmap of new services, building partnerships and will need to move effortlessly between technical and business audiences

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business goals
• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and build infrastructure that extends innovation to traditional services and processes
• Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization, ensuring optimal performance
• Analyze and advise management regarding the investment, opportunity and risks of information technology changes/ enhancements
• Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage

• Hands-on experience of designing, owning and evaluating technology and process optimization practices to an organization
• Proven experience of providing strategic and technical leadership to financial organizations (banks, payment institutions, payment schemes, etc)
• Project management qualification, experience of robustly managing large budgets and having built processes and redesigned roles
• Strong knowledge of data security and regulatory compliance relevant to financial services
• Experience of working in complex organizations leading on digital and financial services, as well as in networking with similar organizations in the banking/ card/ e-commerce industries
• Proven experience in senior IT leadership role
• Experience of developing and implementing ICT strategies, including experience of budgeting and managing budgets
• Bachelor’s in Information Technology or Computer Science
• MBA or Master in Finance will be considered as a key asset
• Can do, inclusive mentality, change advocate
• Availability to travel within EU especially during the first months of the engagement
