Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information and suggest suitable solutions
- Work closely with suppliers, customers and the sales team to make sure orders are delivered on time and meet sales goals
- Promote and sell spare parts by understanding customer needs and offering the right products
- Provide outstanding customer service, address inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Stay informed about market trends and identify new sales opportunities
- Prepare and present sales proposals
- Monitor spare parts levels and sales data to track progress
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred)
- Proven experience in spare parts sales
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects
- Willingness to travel for industry events and customer meetings
