excellence and growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Front Office Assistant
Manager to coordinate the Front Office Team.
Job Role: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Front Office
Assistant Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Manager, you will support
the Front Office Manager in overseeing the front office operations, ensuring
exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of
hospitality. Your role will include managing daily operations, training and
leading the front desk team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trains,
cross –trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
- Participates
in the selection of front office personnel.
- Schedules the front office
staff.
- Supervises
workload during shifts.
- Evaluates
the job performance of each front office employee.
- Verifies
that accurate room status information is maintained and properly
communicated.
- Resolves
guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Updates
group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays
information to appropriate personnel.
- Checks cashiers in
and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
- Enforces
all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
- Conducts
regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
- Requires
all front office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times.
- Prepare
performance reports related to front office.
- Monitor guest
status and take appropriate action.
- Ensure
implementation of all hotel policies and procedures.
- Prepare
revenue and occupancy forecasting.
- Ensure
logging and delivery of all messages,packages, and mail in a timely and professional
manner.
- Ensure
that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to
all guests, managers and other employees.
- Monitor
all V.I.P 's special guests and requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI).
- 2-3
years minimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitality
strongly required.
- Excellent
knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered
accordingly.
- Exceptional
communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills.
- Ability
to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage
workload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
- High
knowledge of Protel/CRS/PMS revenue management and MS office are considered a
must.
- Availability
to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
